Pocahontas State Park Bike Trails Fundraising
Outdoor recreation is a big part of the Richmond community. And we want to make it even bigger.
The Richmond Regional Ride Center plans to expand the existing single track trails in the Richmond area to allow you access to trails no matter where you live. Our first order of business is to expand the trail systems at Pocahontas State Park with hand cycle trails, expert mountain bike flow trails and more. But we need your help. Click on the map to see the phases and progress. Full maps are in the Media page.
The first phase is a success, we raised $300,000 to cover the construction cost to build 7 miles of beginner trail. We are now moving into Phase 2 it will be 3.5 miles of intermediate trail. This will make an experience like no other in Richmond. Your support will pay for building and maintaining the current trails and support the growth to finishing the plan of over 25 miles of purpose built trail.
Get outside. Get active. Get healthy. Help us turn the Richmond community into an even better place to live. To learn more about our plans or see how you can get involved outside of making a donation, get in touch with us today.
